TMJ consists of a number of problems involving the teeth, muscles, ligaments, and bones of the skull or joints that prevent your jaw's movement from functioning correctly. The most common causes of TMJ is trauma to the face and jaws, clenching, grinding, missing teeth and stress. TMJ symptoms are mutiple and varied ranging from pain in the head to a sensation of weakness of the arm and leg muscles, here are some of the most common symptoms:

We are currently implementing a Soft Tissue Management Program oriented to the prevention or treatment of Periodontal Disease.

Periodontal Disease is an infection that destroys the tissue around your teeth (gums) as well as the bone that holds the teeth in place.

Furthermore, it has been found that the incidence of certain conditions increase if the person has periodontal disease, some example of these conditions are heart disease, weakened Immune System, Diabetes, Preterm low birth babies, Respiratory .

In its earlier stages it can be successfully treated, but once the disease progresses into the advanced stages it can only be controlled by periodic gum treatment (commonly known as Deep Cleanings), which means that it is irreversible.

Our other treatment options are our take home whitening gel, this special gel is applied to the inner surface of a custom fit tray and simply worn during the day or overnight.

• Implant Surgery Center
One of our many services includes the surgical placement of implants. Implant surgery has become one of the most preferred dental treatments as it provides with a long lasting solution to your specific needs given that you are an adequate candidate and your needs require them.

Implants are small titanium cylinders coated with substances that aid in the initial attraction to bone that are surgically placed to replace the roots of missing teeth. When there is some tooth missing, the rest of the teeth have a natural tendency to migrate erupting out of the jawbone, process known as supraeruption, in order to make up for the spaces in your mouth.
